Reproducing art from your originals not only requires a printer with a "good eye", but a printer with the right equipment, the right media and a wealth of hands-on experience. Speedpro is able to offer Giclee printing to artists for reproduction of artwork or art prints. This is an alternative to lithographic, which can be a super costly venture for most artists. Historically, artists have had to purchase hundreds to thousands of prints. Couple that with the setup costs for lithography and the investment is prohibitive.
Speedpro Imaging TGT is opening the world of "limited prints" to virtually every artist, by allowing for low volume, high quality reproduction. An artist can order a minimum number of print and pay a fraction of what they would have otherwise.
The term Giclee ("zhee-clay") - French meaning "to spray ink" - has become synonymous with the technology we use to reproduce fine art. The Giclee pre-press process starts by digitally scanning your original art or transparency, then cleaning the colour correcting the image and finally printing colour proofs on the media you have chosen for your actual print. We utilize our six-colour 52inch Roland printer for producing Giclees.
